Cellar Craft Award Winning Wines from the 2007 Wine Maker Magazine Competition

Red Wines ~ Our Global Series

Global Cuvée Chateau Du Pays (4 week): A most complex wine made from seven different grape stocks from three continents. Deep coloured, good body, appealing fruit and moderate tannins. Toasted oak adds extra depth.

Global Cuvée Merlot (4 & 6 week): European and Chilean Merlots with medium body, deep colour and a slightly grassy scent which becomes more delicate with age. Gentle fruit flavours. Softer with age.

Global Cuvée Cabernet - Merlot (4 & 6 week): A classic marriage in the French tradition. Our exclusive blend utilizes sturdy Cabernet Sauvignon from the Americas, softened with the addition of European Merlot. Medium bodied, dark colour, perfect balance and appealing fruit flavours. Soft finish.

Global Cuvée Caves de Vin (6 week): A French style blend, exclusively featuring full bodied California and Chilean Cabernets with just a touch of European Merlot. Oak completes the structure and compliments the fruit in the bouquet.

Global Cuvée Shiraz (4 & 6 week): In the Australian style, this wine is big, but not overwhelming. Deep purple hue, hints of berry; peppery and lots of tannin. 12.5% 13% alcohol. Should be cellared for several months to develop its charm.

Global Cuvée Valpolicella (4 & 6 week): Select Italian varietals highlight our version of the famous wine of Verona. Alluring fruit, soft tannins and a deeper than expected colour. Medium bodied, with higher alcohol, in the tradition of Valpolicella“Superiore.”

Global Cuvée Barolo (4 week): Italian and Californian grapes provide the charm of this robust classic. A full measure of oak adds structure. Benefits from up to a year in the bottle.

Global Cuvée Beau Soleil (4 & 6 week): Our interpretation of a French classic. Deep crimson colour and a suggestion of cherry in the aroma. Nicely rounded, very soft with aging and a lingering finish.
