Chardonnay from the Americas blended with special selections from Europe and
California. Fresh and fruity with subtle acid. Suggestions of apple and peat A
big wine with easy drinking qualities.
Global Cuvée Chardonnay (4 & 6 week):
Our exclusive blending of Washington and Chilean Chardonnays, accented with
California Chenin Blanc produces a subtle tropical aroma of pineapple with
rich apple and pear flavours. The oak contributes a toasty vanilla charm.
Finishes dry with a bit of crispness which mellows with age.
Global Cuvée Caves de Vin (6 week):
An exclusive, full bodied wine in the French style. Its intriguing
complexity comes from 4 different grape varieties. Chilean Sauvignon Blanc
provides the classic herbaceous character. Defying convention, we have added
Chardonnay for its rich fruit flavours and roundness. California Chenin
Blanc and French Colombard complete the taste profile.
Global Cuvée Fume Blanc (6 week):
California style Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh and distinctively aromatic.
Herbaceous and grassy scent, balancing nicely with the subtle fruit. When
oaked, displays the characteristic smokiness which sets this wine apart.
Crisp finish.
Global Cuvée Piesporter (6 week): A
Riesling based wine, styled after wines from the slopes near Piesport,
Germany. Fruit, citrus and spice on the nose. Peach, apricot and apple
flavours. A crisp, clean finish. Finish with our exclusive, all natural “Flavour
Reserve.”
Global Cuvée Liebfraumilch (4 week): An
easy drinking style that has made Liebfraumilch the favourite German wine in
North America. Our version displays delicate citrus and spice character
typical of White Riesling. Meant to be consumed well chilled and young.
Usually finished with a bit of conditioner to balance the naturally crisp
finish.
Global Cuvée Chardonnay - Semillon (4 &
6 week): Chardonnay from 2 continents provides the backbone for this wine.
We then marry these Chardonnays with fine California Semillon to produce a
full bodied wine in the style made so popular in Australia. Displays
tropical pineapple and citrus aromas. Soft and lush on the palate, with
buttery richness with apple and pear flavours persisting to a lingering
finish. Light gold in colour. The oak gives a rich, rounded mouth feel and
contributes a light, toasty vanilla note to the wine.
